How your friends can help boost your business

We’ve all got that friend, we love her style, she oozes confidence, sophistication and let’s face it there is a little part of us that wants to be like her! What if I told you that there are a heap of women looking to you and your business that exact same way.

With this comes responsibility and following of women/men/peers that respect your opinion (because you have smashing good taste!) and to them your word is golden. This right here is your leverage. 

You’ve no doubt hear the saying that there are six degrees of separation between the entire world, so it goes without saying you are less than six connections away from your ideal customer! Just like you, the business owners and friends that you associate with all have their respective followings and within them is your target market.

By sharing products and services that you love and respect you allow the six degrees to connect.

This is a new level of marketing and one that is so important in today’s social environment. We are endlessly on our phones connecting, tweeting, liking and sharing so what would happen if you used that influence and social status to share one of your fellow small business owners?

Your following, who respects you and your opinion, see when you are passionate about a new product or service they, in turn, get fired up, setting up a new connection.

If we all took a step this week to share one product or service that you love – by sharing an image on Instagram, sharing a link on Facebook, writing a blog post – I bet that we could generate more sales, more followers, more customers and more profit!
